How do I use UpToDate on my mobile device?

Information on using UpToDate through USF Health Libraries, including setting up your personal account and installing the application on mobile devices.

Answer

To use UpToDate, you must register and maintain a free personal account with UpToDate. This applies to using UpToDate both via website or mobile app.

 

Open UpToDate through the Library

 

Register for a Personal Account

  • If this is your first time using UpToDate through USF Health, sign up for a free account using your USF email
  • If you already created an account through USF Health, sign in to your account.
  • You are permitted to use this account on up to two (2) devices

 

Set up the Mobile App

  • Install the app through your device's app store

 

  • Log in using the username and password you created

 

Confirm your Affiliation with the University of South Florida every 90 days

  • Go to UpToDate through the library website
  • Log in using your personal account
